AMPHOR Pendant Light

Trendsetting - the AMPHOR pendant light is made of environmentally friendly biomaterial ("liquid wood") using the energy-saving 3D printing process in Germany. The cocoon-like shape ideally complements the organic honeycomb pattern of 3D printing. Combined with LED bulbs, the biomaterial creates a cozy warm light. The natural white textile cable of the suspension was color-matched to the biomaterial. For a uniform appearance, the canopy is also 3D printed in the same material.

The AMPHOR is available as a single pendant as well as a double pendant. Longer suspensions are available at an additional cost.The AMPHOR pendant light may only be operated with LED bulbs.

Light Fixtures Made to Last

For an above-average product lifetime and for the sake of the environment, we design and manufacture our luminaires in such a way that the light source and, if present, the driver are always replaceable. For this reason, our luminaire models either use sockets that can be fitted with commercially available LED light sources or they use LED light source that can be replaced by a qualified electrician or by us. We follow market standards so that the LED light sources we use will still be available in comparable designs in the future. In this way, we ensure that our customers can enjoy a Casablanca luminaire for a long time and that the environment is protected by avoiding electrical waste.

European Product Registry for Energy Labelling

The EU energy labelling and ecodesign legislation help improve the energy efficiency of products on the EU market.

Ecodesign sets common EU wide minimum standards to eliminate the least performing products from the market. The energy labels provide a clear and simple indication of the energy efficiency and other key features of products at the point of purchase. This makes it easier for consumers to save money on their household energy bills and contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions across the EU.

The EU legislation for energy labels and ecodesign has been estimated to bring energy savings of approximately 230 Mtoe (million tonnes of oil equivalent) by 2030. For consumers, this means an average saving of up to €285 per year on their household energy bills. Moreover, energy efficiency measures will create €66 billion in extra revenue for European companies.

Longer Suspension

High Ceilings

Casablanca pendant luminaires are supplied with suspensions for an average room height of 2.50 to 2.85 meters. The suspensions can be shortened. For higher ceilings, the luminaires can be ordered with longer suspensions.

Multiple Suspension

The double pendant allows individual positioning of the two pendants in the desired distance between from each other. Also available as „rise&fall“ suspension.

For multiple fixture mounting please place an order for an additional single pendant WITHOUT CEILING CANOPY.

Oblique Ceilings

Casablanca luminaires can be adapted and extended with optional accessories to structural conditions and individual requirements.

Pendant luminaires cannot be mounted on sloping ceilings without modifications, otherwise there is a risk of the mounting brackets coming loose or the wire getting damaged. This is why Casablanca offers special accessories for mounting on sloping ceilings.

Casablanca luminaires can be adapted and extended with optional accessories to structural conditions and individual requirements.

In case the electric outlet isn’t located where the luminaire is planned to be installed, we recommend the decentralized fixing possibility. Longer electric cables or holding wires are available for a surcharge.
