MESA Pendant Light
A clear, sober line and geometric design characterize the glass lamp MESA. The perfectly flat top of the high-quality hand-blown shade and the minimally sloping side contour of the cylindrical opal glass fits perfectly into modern as well as classic-simple room decor. The glass surface of the opal-white pendant lamp MESA has a noble satin appearance, as does the hand-brushed aluminum of the pendant parts. An E27 Edison socket for general-purpose lamps allows the use of energy-saving LED bulbs and guarantees their easy replacement at any time. The patented, proprietary technology of the sophisticated pendant fitting ensures that the hand-blown glass shades are aligned exactly straight. The mounting parts included in the scope of delivery allow the optional suspension of the pendant lamp from the power cable outlet on the ceiling as well as from any other point in the room. This applies to the single pendant version of MESA as well as to the double pendant version. Suspended lights MESA can also be obtained with a pendant mounting to adjust the length of suspension. In addition, ceiling canopies in various widths for lateral displacement of the pendants, e.g. for extendable tables, as well as special mounting parts for sloping ceilings are available at an extra charge.

Light Fixtures Made to Last
For an above-average product lifetime and for the sake of the environment, we design and manufacture our luminaires in such a way that the light source and, if present, the driver are always replaceable. For this reason, our luminaire models either use sockets that can be fitted with commercially available LED light sources or they use LED light source that can be replaced by a qualified electrician or by us. We follow market standards so that the LED light sources we use will still be available in comparable designs in the future. In this way, we ensure that our customers can enjoy a Casablanca luminaire for a long time and that the environment is protected by avoiding electrical waste.

European Product Registry for Energy Labelling
The EU energy labelling and ecodesign legislation help improve the energy efficiency of products on the EU market.
Ecodesign sets common EU wide minimum standards to eliminate the least performing products from the market. The energy labels provide a clear and simple indication of the energy efficiency and other key features of products at the point of purchase. This makes it easier for consumers to save money on their household energy bills and contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions across the EU.
The EU legislation for energy labels and ecodesign has been estimated to bring energy savings of approximately 230 Mtoe (million tonnes of oil equivalent) by 2030. For consumers, this means an average saving of up to €285 per year on their household energy bills. Moreover, energy efficiency measures will create €66 billion in extra revenue for European companies.

Wire Pendant Luminaire Information
Fixture can be suspensed with either the electrical cable or a Holding Wire
Longer Suspension
Casablanca pendant luminaires are supplied with suspensions for an average room height of 2.50 to 2.85 meters. The suspensions can be shortened. For higher ceilings, the luminaires can be ordered with longer suspensions.
Multiple Suspension
The double pendant allows individual positioning of the two pendants in the desired distance between from each other. Also available as „rise&fall“ suspension.

Oblique Ceilings
Casablanca luminaires can be adapted and extended with optional accessories to structural conditions and individual requirements.
Pendant luminaires cannot be mounted on sloping ceilings without modifications, otherwise there is a risk of the mounting brackets coming loose or the wire getting damaged. This is why Casablanca offers special accessories for mounting on sloping ceilings.
